A pet cat in Thailand showed exceptional courage, and balance, to sit on a motorbike's sidecar as it navigated a rough rural road.

The sidecar is mostly just a metal frame, designed more for freight than people, but the one-year-old cat managed to hold on to a wooden platform directly above the sidecar's wheel, that is sometimes used as a seat by passengers.

Pet owner Kachen Boonkerd said: "We are riding to a cow farm together everyday. Khao Hom, my lovely kitten, will always stay on my three-wheeled motorcycle without going anywhere while I am feeding cows."

"She always jumps onto the back of my ride but now she follows me to the bike and always begs me with her cute eyes to lift her up," she added.
