Heavy rains from typhoon Lupit drenched roads on an expressway in China.
Footage shows several portions of the Shenhai Expressway being battered by a heavy downpour on August 6. The Fuzhou Highway Traffic Police warned drivers to exercise caution while travelling.
A blue alert was earlier raised by China’s national observatory in preparation for Typhoon Lupit which made landfall in Guangdong province on August 5. It made a second landfall in Fujian province on the same day.
More than 33,000 have been evacuated from the coast due to expected strong winds and heavy downpours.
