My name is Farhad. It was two o'clock in the morning when there was a heavy explosion. When we heard the sound, we left the house. The house was on fire. "There was a man, a woman and a child. Another woman was seriously injured. She took us to the hospital, but she was bleeding profusely. After the attack, no one came to their aid out of fear."
At 2 am on Saturday, a heavy explosion was heard in the Nagrak area of the 7th district of Jalalabad city. At around 9 a.m., people learned that an airstrike had hit a house in the city. A Pentagon spokesman said the attack was in retaliation for a deadly attack on President Hamid Karzai's airport in which a senior ISIS member was killed.
The U.S. drone struck a house in a densely populated area housing two families. Neighbors say a seven-year-old child, a woman and a man were killed and a woman was seriously injured in the attack. Neighbors of those killed say the men had no contact with their neighbors and lived on their own.
