No-one flies with a budget airline for its customer service but America's JetBlue took pettiness about policies to the next level on a flight on 1 June.

Tyler Weitzman filmed himself being harangued by a member of JetBlue's flight crew on a flight from Miami, Florida. He said the exchange took around six minutes though he posted a shorter version to TikTok.

He said the attendant threatened to kick him off the plane after a passenger in first class gave him an eye mask.

Passengers in First are given the masks but Economy passengers are not. But with JetBlue, according to the woman, Economy passengers aren't even allowed to wear eye masks given to them by First Class passengers.

The flight attendant told him to take it off or risk being removed from the flight.

After the video was widely watched, and mocked, online, the airline said it was "revisiting" the policy.
