A powerful magnitude 7.0 earthquake hit Mexico's west coast near Acapulco city Tuesday night Sep 7, 2021 at 8:47 pm local time. According to preliminary news, it caused only relatively moderate damage, fortunately, despite its dangerously large magnitude. However, at least on man was reported killed by a falling post.
