A boat was captured struggling to move through a river swamped by debris and trees due to flash flooding in Vietnam.

Video filmed in Quang Nam Province on September 27 shows the surface of the river completely covered by branches and tree trunks.

According to the locals, the heavy rains caused flash floods which carried a large amount of soil, debris, and tall trees down into the river.

Residents said it took a long time to clean up the garbage in this area.
