The floodwaters rose so quickly that the villagers could not prepare. They took advantage of banana trees, plastic materials, car tires to be able to move out and avoid being submerged by floodwaters.
The Vietnam central region evacuated 11,000 people urgently, 4 people died, 7 were missing due to floods. Thousands of houses were submerged.
