Historic clock tower dismantled for renovation in Kent, UK
Work has started on disassembling the Grade II listed Sheerness town centre clock tower, so it can be transported for renovation by specialists John Smith & Sons of Derby in this footage taken today (September 27).
A report by Swale Council found the cast iron clock tower, which was built in 1902, had developed serious structural defects, requiring expert attention.
