Thomas Conner is a knife-wielding, 51-year-old man from Beloit, Wisconsin who's been charged for felony murder after fatally stabbing one person and injuring another at the Erie Islands Service Plaza along the Ohio Turnpike on October 19.

Footage shows Conner being shot by a Sandusky County sheriff's deputy after he refused to comply with orders and charged the officer in the plaza parking lot, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Connor was shot in the hip area two times. He was transported to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. As of the afternoon of October 20, Connor was in stable condition, according to Sandusky County Sheriff Chris Hilton.

David Diederich, a 66-year-old man from La Porte, Indiana, was identified as the stabbing victim who died. Alan L. Austin, a 53-year-old man from Delaware, Wisconsin, was the stabbing victim who survived.

Filmer Kayu Li told Newsflare: "I was just a random guy who happened to be driving past the service plaza and saw the whole thing. I am pretty sure that I am the only one who literally watched [Conner] stab and kill the white man. I called 911 and shared this video with the police. I was in my car when the police showed up and shot [Conner]."

I called 911 shared this video with the police. I was in my car when the police showed up and shot the black guy.
