A goat has been born in India with one eye, after its mother gave birth prematurely and it was not able to develop properly.

The animal was born at a house in Madhya Pradesh, India and as the news of the unique-looking goat spread across the town, people crowded around the animal and began to worship it.

In a clip, the goat stands among a group of people, as a light shines into its eye - which is placed in the centre of its head.

As people point at the goat and talk among themselves, it appears none-the-wiser about the commotion it has caused.

The tiny goat is then stroked by a member of the crowd, as it tries to gain its balance.

The clip cuts to a man holding the goat, while four other men stare at the marvel and the goat begins to shriek.

Sadly, the goat passed away later that evening due to its premature birth.

Despite claims that the goat was a ‘miracle’, doctor Ali, a local vet, explained that due to its premature birth, the goat’s organs were not developed properly.
