The Indonesian Police continue to work hard to achieve the target of achieving vaccines for the Indonesian population according to the direction of the President, the achievement of vaccines for citizens must reach 70 percent nationally. A number of ways and strategies are carried out by the Government to obtain vaccine targets for the population. One way is to carry out raids for two-wheeled drivers and public transport vehicles carrying passengers. In several areas in Indonesia, one of which was in the city of Sorong, West Papua Province, on Saturday (12/18/2021) the local police immediately carried out a VACSINATION Raid for two-wheelers and public transportation carrying passengers. Private cars were also not spared from Police Raids. The residents who were caught in the raid and had not yet been vaccinated were immediately directed by the police to the VACSINATION outlets that had been prepared. Raid activities that have been carried out since two days ago (Friday, 17/12/2021) the Police are working hard to pursue the National Vaccination Target Achievement. A number of points were carried out to achieve the vaccination target for residents, including in front of Sorong DEO Airport, and in front of the Sorong City Grand Mosque. In the raid, it was seen that many residents tried to fight the officers and refused to be vaccinated. However, thanks to the patience of the Police and a comprehensive and positive explanation about the vaccine, the residents who initially refused to be vaccinated were finally willing to be vaccinated by the vaccinator from the Police Health. There were some motorcyclists who saw the vaccination raid and immediately turned around to avoid vaccination. Rahma, a resident of Sorong city, admitted that she had been vaccinated twice. According to Rahma, people should not be afraid to be vaccinated. Because this vaccine is very important for the health of the community, especially since the COVID-19 outbreak is not over yet. "I've been vaccinated twice. Earlier, the police officer stopped me for a while to show proof that the document had been vaccinated. I immediately showed my identity and the police checked it through the Peduli Protect application. Two have been vaccinated for the second dose." said Rahma. "This vaccine is safe, come on, citizens, don't be afraid, don't believe hoax news. This vaccination is very important for us. Especially now that the COVID-19 outbreak has not ended. Let's support the Government's efforts to protect and protect its citizens from the COVID-19 Outbreak" he said.

Meanwhile, the Sorong City Police Chief, Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police (AKBP) Ary Nyoto Setiawan admitted that the raid activities carried out were currently being backed up by the Directorate of Pol Air and Brimob Battalion B of the West Papua Police. The achievement of the Vaccination target for the Sorong City area is still quite low, although for the entire West Papua region it has only reached 51-52 percent of the National Vaccination Target Achievement for residents of 70 percent. "We are the ranks of the Sorong City Police, backed up with the Directorate of Pol Air and Mobile Brigade Battalion B of the West Papua Police, we are carrying out an increase in the achievement of the Vaccination target. Indeed, at this time we are still below the (Achievement of the Vaccination Target) then our achievements are still far away. The provincial level vaccination target has entered 50-51 percent of the national vaccination target of 70 percent according to the central government's target." Obviously Arya. "Where on Tuesday (12/21/2022) the achievement of the vaccination target for the Sorong city area itself must reach 62 percent. This means that we are still achieving 8000 people in Sorong City every day, but we will maximize it so that it will be achieved later. " Arya said. According to Ary, currently, the Sorong City area itself has only reached 53 percent of the vaccination achievements for residents. "I think Sorong City itself is still at 53 percent. So we still have to pursue the 70 percent figure so that we are backed up by the Directorate of Pol Water and Mobile Brigade Battalion B of the West Papua Police together." Arya said. According to Ary, the Police have opened eight vaccination booths for residents and currently the activity for achieving the vaccination target has been upgraded to a vaccine raid for residents where this vaccine raid was carried out because previously an appeal and socialization had been carried out for residents to voluntarily come. to the Vaccine Outlet to get the vaccination, but the results were not significant so the Police carried out a vaccination raid. "Currently we have opened (vaccination sites for residents) there are 8 vaccination booths. And now we have increased our activities to become vaccine raids at this time. So indeed at first we have appealed, we have also given outreach to the public but the results are not significant. We have already started to increase our activities into raids on people who have not been vaccinated at several points in the city of Sorong." Said Ary.

According to Ary, Vaccine Raid activities for residents have been carried out since two days ago, where since the beginning of the raid, the Police have rounded up at least a thousand more residents who have not been vaccinated. "We have been carrying out this activity since yesterday, and I think this activity is effective enough to attract people who have not implemented the vaccine. From yesterday we have received 1557 people, meanwhile, the target for achieving the vaccine must be at least the first dose, the first dose must be we're after." Arya said. Vaccination raids for residents will be carried out until December 24. This is because Christians will celebrate Christmas. "We will carry out this activity until the end of December, but we will see that there will be a bit of a collision with community activities where Christians carry out Christmas celebrations, so we will effectively carry out this activity until December 24, 2021. After that, we will prioritize implementation." Arya said. Regarding community members from other regencies that are neighboring Sorong City, according to Ary, the Police continue to provide directions and appeals to them. "The increase in the COVID-19 vaccination target, especially since Aimas and other regencies in the Sorong Raya area are still an agglomeration, so we still recommend that residents from other regencies neighboring Sorong City who enter this area must be vaccinated. We are indeed not forced, but if the resident has to come back, okay?" said AKBP Ary Nyoto Setiawan.
