The London open air suspended Sky Pool with an astronomical daily £450 heating bill in winter - has no swimmers
The Sky pool in south-west London's Embassy Gardens housing development is an open-air transparent swimming pool suspended 115 feet in the air between two buildings, and is said to be the first of its kind in the world.
Since its opening during May 2021, it has proved a hit with residents who have enjoyed the rooftop amenities. However as the capital dips to sub-zero temperatures residents have hit-out, allegedly called for the pool to close during the winter months as its an costs an astonishing £450 a day to heat it.
Footage from 19th January shows no users and two residents told the filmer that few swimmers have been spotted in recent months outside of the weekends.
