Chinese business owners pour water over themselves for not completing tasks in central China.
Video filmed in the city of Yichang in Hubei Province on February 28 shows a man standing on a chair to pour buckets of water over the business owners.
According to an employee at Juranzhijia Furniture Stores, it was a promotion event hosted annually.
Business owners who did not complete the tasks at the event would be punished. While the water poured over the business owners was warm, not cold.
