A tiny turtle hatchling set off to sea after it was rescued from a stray fishing net on a beach in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu.

Footage from March 3 shows the turtle being untangled from the netting before being carried to the water's edge.

This month, when the turtles lay their eggs on the shores of the coast, the turtle hatchlings has began to hatch on the shores of Cuddalore district in Tamil Nadu. Today we were informed that the turtle hatchlings were hatching on the shore and we continued our search for it to safely send them to the sea. The hatchlings which were trapped in a fish net were rescued and safely released to the sea. This delightful moment was photographed by a person in my group. This beautiful moment where I rescued the trapped hatchling and send it safely to the sea took place in Cuddalore, Tamilnadu, South India.
