Truck collides head-on with car after crashing through highway's central reservation in China
An out of control truck collided with a car head-on after crashing through a highway's central reservation in eastern China.
A dramatic video filmed in the city of Ningbo in Zhejiang Province on March 3 shows a transport truck suddenly crashing through the central reservation and hitting a Renault car on Shenyang–Haikou Expressway.
According to reports, a tyre on the transport truck suddenly exploded causing the vehicle to lose control.
Fortunately, the motorist Ms Yuan and a passenger in the car only suffered minor injuries and were sent to hospital for a check-up.
Seven tons of iron plates transported on the truck fell onto the road causing a traffic jam. More than 30 metres of central reservation were damaged and the traffic went back to normal after several hours.
