Loud explosion heard in Russian city of Belgorod, 20 miles from Ukrainian border
CCTV footage filmed yesterday (March 5) at 7.30 pm in Belgorod, Russia, shows a residential area in the snow, suddenly lit up by a loud explosion.
The city of Belgorod is located just less than 20 miles from the Ukrainian border.
Its residents have claimed to have heard a loud blast at approximately 7.35 pm. Eyewitnesses have also said that smoke clouds were visible in different parts of the city.
The dynamics of the incident are not clear. According to local sources, Russian authorities haven't reported about the blast, nor Russian media, which are currently under strict censorship.
