An Indian medical student in Ukraine sent his pet husky back to India while he stayed behind to save a friend in need.

Footage shot on 9 March showed the huge Russian-breed dog, named Sundu, lolling about at its owner's family's home in India.

Owner, 25-year-old Sahil Duhan, sent the dog to India with a fellow Indian student escaping Ukraine.

Sahil himself stayed in the country to help a friend whose two-month-old child had health issues, said Sahil's father Narendra Singh, who lives in Haryana Rohtak city.

He added that his son is very attached to Sundu, who he bought a year ago in Ukraine.

Sundu also seems to miss his owner. Whenever the doll bell rings he runs towards the gate, perhaps thinking that Sahil has returned.

Fortunately, Sahil and his friend and family, have now reached Romania, so Sahil will soon come back to India .

An Indian student who is studying medical ( MBBS ) in Ukraine Kyiv sent his Russian breed pet dog named Sundu to India and stayed back in Ukraine to help out one his friend in need their in Ukraine .
Sahil Duhan ( age 25) is a 5th year MBBS student at Kiev university was worrie about his dog , he sent his pet dog back India with his friend named Harshit who also studies there .
Sahil Father Narendra singh who lives in Haryana Rohtak city tells that his son sahil is very attached to Sundu which he brought a year back in Ukraine . Father further tells that his son decided to stay back to help his friend and his family there , his friend's two month old child has some health complications so he decided to stay back and help them on his friend request . My son don't want to take any chance with his pet dog life so he sent him back .
Pet dog Sundu not seems very happy here and whenever a doll bell rings he run towards the gate thinking that sahil came back .
But now sahil and his friend with his family have now reached Romania and will soon come back India .
