Will Smith Oscars slap on Chris Rock immortalised in cartoon PANCAKE by street food vendor
Will Smith's historic Oscars slap on Chris Rock has been immortalised in a PANCAKE by a street food vendor in Thailand.
The Men In Black actor stormed on stage and whacked the comedian following a hair-loss joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
Street food vendor Thanabadee Tongsan, 36, has now captured the iconic television moment in the form of a colourful cartoon pancake.
Footage shows the talented chef cooking up the topical treat at his stall in Chonburi, eastern Thailand, on March 29.
He said: 'Everybody has been talking about what happened with Will Smith and Chris Rock. I watched it on TV and was shocked, but I can understand he was emotional.
'I wanted to recreate the moment in a pancake and I think it worked out quite well.'
Thanabadee's shop, called Happy Pancake, opens every day from 4pm until around 11pm.
Will Smith, best known for his role in the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air, has since apologised for the apparent assault while the Academy Awards bosses investigate whether he should be stripped of the oscar for his role in King Richard.
