This is the bizarre moment a shark stuck to a ship's wall like a magnet.

Crew member Treblig Sibon recorded the deep sea marine creature seemingly attaching itself to the wall of their ship in Dampier, Australia on March 15.

Sibon's colleague appeared to have trouble removing the creature, which had adhered itself firmly on the flat surface.

The maintenance worker said that the shark was caught from the sea and was supposed to be the staff meal, but the crew ended up releasing it later on because they were afraid of its seemingly magnetic properties.

He said: 'It looked dangerous so we decided to take it back to the ocean. It's the first time we've seen that kind of creature, so it's better to be careful.'
