A hungry pet Chinchilla batted away its owner's hand to protect its papaya snacks in Japan.
Footage taken in Hokkaido on August 8 shows how the pet rodent named Goma refused to share the delicious treats, swatting its owner's hand away to protect its food. Seemingly fed up, Goma then drags the tiny jar of candies away to keep it to itself.
The starving chinchilla is later seen nibbling on the treats after the jar was opened by its owner.
