Amazing nature – cormorants and gulls in a feeding frenzy, chasing small fish
Sometimes nature puts on an amazing show when we least expect it. This spectacular feeding frenzy of mainly Little Black Cormorants and Silver Gulls with a few Little Pied Cormorants and Crested Terns occurred in the Canning River south of the city of Perth on the first rainy winter’s day. The cormorants were diving to catch fish while the gulls waited on the surface, hoping to steal their catch.
