Buenos Aires, Argentina 8th July 2022. Social organizations carried out a mobilization from the Plaza del Congreso to the Obelisk denouncing the death of ten homeless people and to highlight the conditions that this group faces mainly during the low temperatures of winter. The protest seeks to make visible the situation of those who sleep at night in the open under the slogan "The street is not a place to live or to die". Among the convening entities are Proyecto 7, Nuestra America, Red Puentes, Frente de Villas de La Cámpora, FSP, Puentes Celina, No seas pavote, Jesús en las calles, Miriñaque Solidario, Plan Pupa and MTE. They complain about the lack of specific programs and an adequate budget for the assistance of homeless people. They also denounce that in certain cases there is institutional repression against this group of people. The march ended with speeches by some of the members of the groups mentioned above.
