A group of friends printed giant life-sized boarding passes for their first trip together in the Philippines.

Footage shows the youngsters giggling as they pulled out their 3ft by 2ft documents while checking in at an airport in Pasay City, Metro Manila, the Philippines on July 23.

Their friend Rove Bahan said they thought of pulling the prank to make their first trip more memorable. For some of them, it was also their first time on an aeroplane.

She said: ‘We were tasked to print the boarding passes so we thought of pulling a prank to make our first trip more memorable.'

The youngsters were flying to the popular Boracay Island in Aklan province. They amused airline staff and were still allowed to board despite their over-sized boarding passes.
