This is the touching moment a kind bus conductor carried passengers out of a vehicle after floods caused severe traffic in the Philippines.

Noymi Rose Aspan and other commuters were helped by the man, who piggybacked them through ankle-deep floodwater in Bacolod, Negros Occidental.

Footage shows the worker carefully wading through the water while carrying a woman on his back on October 14.

Moments later, his colleague placed plastic beer crates upside down to allow other passengers to step on them and reach the dry pavement safely.

Noymi said: 'When we reached our stop, we hesitated to get off because we were in our work uniforms, and the water outside was high enough to soak our stockings and shoes.

'Seeing our hesitation, the bus conductor quickly offered to help. Without hesitation, he stepped into the flooded street and assisted each of us as we got off. He even helped the men, too, making sure everyone stayed safe and as dry as possible.

'Because of his kindness, we were able to reach our workplace on time and with our uniforms still dry. It was a simple gesture, but it showed how compassion still exists even in unexpected places. That day, we were reminded that a little act of kindness can truly make a big difference, even during a flood.'

The Philippines and neighbouring Southeast Asian countries are in the midst their annual monsoon season, marked by soaring temperatures followed by intense rainstorms.
