Police find helper on social media to catch snake
Police in China turned to social media on Friday for help catching an aggressive snake which was on the loose in a home in Jiangsu Province.
According to local media, a policeman posted a message to his WeChat account - a popular social media platform in China - and asked for assistance catching the reptile after neither he nor his colleagues was able to trap the angry creature.
A young mechanic responded to the post and reported for duty with a stick and a pair of heavy duty gloves.
The man caught the 1.5-metre snake in a closet and later returned it to the wild.
