Torrents of water washed away vehicles in Da Nang, Vietnam, as flash floods followed heavy rain brought by Tropical Storm Songca on 14 October.

Record rainfall in the country's central regions forced residents to abandon their vehicles and dash to safety, as others were swept away by the torrents.

According to reports, the flooding caused hundreds of motorbikes to be swept away and damaged hundreds of cars.

Locals are reported saying that they have not seen such a terrible flood in 30 years.
