This chihuahua dressed in a tiny ghost costume wins the award for the most adorable trick-or-treater.

Mochi, a 1-year-old pooch from Calgary, Canada, was visiting Bowden SunMaze when owner Ali Griffin debuted his Halloween look, made from a pillowcase.

Cute footage viewed more than 130,000 times on social media shows Ali pan around to her diminutive dog standing there in his custom-made outfit.

Mochi’s video left commenters joking they were "terrified" and that they "jumped out of bed they were so scared."

Ali said: “I thought it was so cute how tiny and cute he looked in his costume.

“I made it out of a pillowcase last year for a ‘ghost challenge' and I wanted to use it again this year.

“I have a plan in October to make a series of Mochi in just ghost costumes in different places.

“We were at the sunflower maze and this building was a little creepy. I thought it would be a great first video of our ghost series.

“It was very easy. Mochi doesn’t really move around when he has his costume on.”
