This creative math teacher transformed her classroom into a cafe "to make lessons more relaxing" at her school in Thailand.

Taking inspiration from today's trendy minimalistic coffee shops, the young woman, Kap Jukkawad, 26, repainted the room and put up plant stickers to evoke a more comfortable ambiance at the Wang Nam Yen Wittayakom School in Sa Kaeo province.

The cafe does not actually serve drinks, but Kap hoped the brighter atmosphere would help her pupils absorb their arithmetic lessons better.

She said: "I would like to thank the management of Wang Nam Yen Wittayakom School for their understanding and generosity, and also the mathematics department for their design suggestions. My only goal is to make every class pleasant for the students and I hope they would make sure that the decoration is well-maintained and taken care of".
