A wild bird attacked a resident when it was chased out of a property with water.

The feathered creature perched in front of the house when the owner Tai Saranrat sprayed it with a hose in Chanthaburi province, Thailand on January 17.

But instead of flying away, the animal appeared to have felt slighted and fought back.

The fearless bird then struck the Tai while flying around her head. The shaken woman then ended up being the one to leave - even putting a plastic laundy basket on her head to protect her from the dive-boming bird.

House owner Tai said: ‘The bird might have built its nest nearby. I thought it would leave easily. It might be a territorial bird and wanted to protect its home.'
