Bird dive bombs chilled-out cat who shrugs off avian attacker
An aggressive bird dive-bombed a completely calm cat, who coolly shrugged off the avian attacker.
Footage shows an oriental magpie-robin screeching as it swooped down to scare the tuxedo cat away from a garden in Pasay, the Philippines.
The bird appeared to be trying to drive the feline away from a tree where its nest was located.
However, the chilled-out moggy ignored the attacks and calmly stopped to look back on June 16.
Onlooker Lei Roque said: 'My boyfriend and I was at the garden of Mall of Asia. We were sitting on the side while waiting for the mall to open.
'Suddenly, we saw this cute cat and then a bird came up to it. I thought it wanted to play. As a cat lover, I found it really cute.'
The oriental magpie robin is known for being highly territorial, especially during breeding season, and is commonly found across the Philippines, including urban gardens and rural areas.
