Serbian MP resigns after he was caught watching porn in parliament
A Serbian politician has resigned after he was caught watching porn during a tense parliamentary session focusing on the ties with Kosovo.
Western nations are pressuring Serbia and Kosovo to normalise relations after the latter declared independence in 2008.
Footage shows Zvonimir Stevic, 65, a veteran member of the Socialist Party, leering at his phone and playing lewd clips as a heated debate ensued in parliament.
The first clip showed a woman performing oral sex before Zvonimir scrolled through the site and chose an x-rated massage video.
Zvonimir, who also happens to be chair of the parliament's "Committee for Kosovo", appeared to have a different agenda as he stared at the screen under his desk, unaware that he was being recorded by shocked colleagues.
The clip was leaked onto social media and was also picked up by national news.
Ivica Dacic, foreign minister and Socialist Party leader, said: "This is a scandal and a disaster. Zvonko, it is realistic for you to resign. You can no longer remain a deputy because you cannot deal with this. Wherever you appear, whatever you say, you will always be a porno MP".
Zvonimir replied by saying: "I am a party soldier, I will do what you ask".
