A Scottish man has gone viral after ordering every single item of a McDonald's Big Mac just so he could assemble the burger himself at home – leaving viewers divided by his bizarre actions.

Darren Dowling, from Glasgow, is well-known on TikTok (@yerboidazza) for posting about his crazy takeaway antics and has more than 58,000 followers.

Now the 26-year-old revealed his latest stunt in a clip racking up over 948,000 views and 110,500 likes so far.

For those wondering, the single order came to a whopping £30 after Darren ordered all of the Big Mac ingredients individually, rather than buying the burger as a whole.

Speaking to NeedToKnow.online, the online influencer, known as Dazza, shares his reasoning behind the deconstructed dish.

He said: "I wanted to see if firstly it was possible for the order to even be accepted.

"Then, I wanted to see if I could remember how to compile a Big Mac – clearly I couldn’t!

"I couldn’t remember at all how a Big Mac goes together.

"So, I tried to do it from memory, but people seemed really annoyed by that.
"I enjoyed my Big Mac in the end."

After ordering the deconstructed Big Mac, Darren waited patiently for the dish to arrive and says it certainly didn't disappoint.

He begins by taking out all of the ingredients from the delivery bag and starts to construct the burger.

The classic ingredients are all included; pickles, lettuce, a slice of cheese and of course two patties, plus the bread, some onions and the fast food brand’s famous sauce.

Darren takes a huge bite of his now-constructed burger before saying "Now my £30 Big Mac is complete, lovely jubbly." [sic]

But was it worth £30?

The TikToker said: "This was always going to be worth it.

"This is the only time in history that a Big Mac has looked like the picture.

"It was iconic."

However, many people online disagreed, with many criticising the way Darren assembled his burger.

One person said: "As an ex-McDonald's employee how you assembled that hurt."

"It will blow your mind when you find out they come pre-assembled for less than £5," added someone else.

Another person added: "That is so not the correct order that the ingredients go on."

"As a McDonald's crew member that physically hurt me how you assembled that," said another person.

However, others were left impressed with Dazza's construction skills.

"In fairness looks better than McDonald's would do," said one user.

Another person added: "To be fair, that Big Mac is the closest looking Big Mac to the ones in all the tv and video adverts and advertisement pictures."

"Bro assembled the Big Mac better than McDonald's do," another person added. [sic]
