Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat farm shop was hit by virtual gridlock this afternoon (Sat, March 18) as thousands of punters descended on the Cotswold attraction made famous by the TV series, ‘Clarkson’s Farm’. An ambulance became stuck passing the venue, cars churned up muddy verges as they parked and a biker took to riding on the grass to pass the scene. One farmer became agitated as his route out of a field became blocked. There were also long queues on the approach to the farm.

Clarkson has submitted plans for a new car park to accommodate more vehicles, but West Oxfordshire District Council (WODC) rejected plans last May.
