Traffic has been stuck for a long time as an excavator hauling truck got stuck on a bridge in Indonesia.

Dashcam footage of a minibus passing through the artificial lake area of Kampar, Riau Province, today (October 2), shows an excavator hauling truck stopping in the middle of the road at the base of the bridge.

The truck could not pass because the top of the excavator arm got stuck in the bridge.

Traffic control officers directed car drivers onto the sidewalk to pass the truck.

The passenger of the minibus, Faris Aulia (25), said that the narrow road to pass meant that only small cars could pass, except for trucks and other large vehicles.

“We were almost stuck in the back of the truck. So my father quickly changed lanes past the truck,” Aulia added.

He estimated that the process of evacuating the truck from the bridge would take a long time because the excavator being transported was damaged and the engine could not start.
