Severe winds battered a city in northern China, causing widespread damage.

Video filmed in the city of Xinzhou in Shanxi Province on April 10 shows
tin roofs being ripped off buildings and sent hurtling towards parked cars, trees being uprooted and road signs and billboards being brought crashing down.

The extreme weather conditions resulted in significant damage to multiple buildings and vehicles.

Xinzhou meteorological observatory has issued a blue warning signal (the lowest level) for the strong winds at 15:15 on April 10.
