Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged from China of a burning gas cylinder rolling along a street and spreading the fire to a parked bus.

In the video, captured in Chongqing city last week, the cylinder can be seen moving underneath the bus before a brave bystander manages to pull it away using an iron hook.

However, the bus has already been set on fire, and the fire service had to be called.

According to news reports, the gas cylinder belonged to a nearby restaurant whose owner took it outdoors after she lit the gas by mistake. Fortunately nobody was injured in the incident.
