A quick-thinking father swiftly pulled his daughter when she ran out into a busy road.

The family arrived on a motorcycle and parked in front of a shop in Chonburi province, Thailand on May 23.

While waiting for their parent outside, the two youngsters played near the scooter.

But while wandering around, the little girl with a rainbow-coloured hat stumbled and fell out of control.

CCTV footage shows the quick-thinking father rushing towards the girl and catching her before she reached the road where fast motorists were passing by.

Shop owner Artid Boonvan said: ‘The father was a hero. They always feel whenever their children are in danger.'

The youngster was unscathed and asked to be more careful walking around the shop.
