Bank Holiday travellers experienced extremely long queues at Dover Port, south-east England, during this May's last Bank Holiday weekend.

"The huge traffic started two miles from the checkpoint. It was diverted within Dover residential areas. It was utter chaos!", said Jean, the filmer of this clip. "Two hours queuing so far. One more to go we’re told".

The travel disruption was caused by a nationwide problem with e-gates at ports and airports.
