He mentioned that the first-generation EL6 had been one of the best-selling models in China and highlighted the new and exciting features of the second-generation platform.

Both models feature rechargeable and upgradeable battery technologies.

NIO is renowned for its power swap stations and currently has five stations in five Dutch cities. Hamelink also mentioned the upcoming introduction of a sixth station.

In addition, NIO has established a countrywide partnership with KwikFit, one of Europe's largest car service chains, offering up to 40 service points throughout the Netherlands.

Hamelink said that following the first NIO House in Rotterdam, the company plans to open the second in Amsterdam by the first quarter of 2024.

The company remains committed to expanding its power swap network and building more NIO Houses in the future, he added.
