Alec Baldwin was seen walking slowly with crutches along a Manhattan street after undergoing a hip operation.

The actor, 65, was seen heading out of a pizza restaurant in Hell's Kitchen last week (13/6).

Dressed in dark clothes and trainers, he could be seen leaning on a stick while eating a slice.

Baldwin's wife Hilaria, 39, has posted about the surgery on Instagram.

An onlooker in New York City said: "I was walking and I saw a scrappy looking guy. "

"I realised - oh my god - that man looks like Alec Baldwin. "

"He was very slow moving. He had a crutch with an arm brace."

"He went into the pizza shop and bought two cheese slices."

Baldwin and Hilaria are said to own a penthouse in Greenwich Village.

A judge recently approved Baldwin's settlement with the son of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins over her tragic death on the set of western Rust.

Hutchins, 42, was killed on the set of Rust.

Baldwin said he never pulled the trigger.

A settlement was agreed in October and has now been signed off by a judge.
