In a successful operation, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team in Himachal Pradesh, northern India, saved four trapped cattle, ensuring their safety. The incident occurred in Kangra district on July 10.

Captivating visuals showcased the brave SDRF team navigating the challenging rescue operation amidst heavy rainfall. The roaring Baner rivulet, swollen and tumultuous, set a dynamic backdrop as team members equipped in waterproof gear fearlessly carried out the mission. With unwavering determination, they rescued the stranded cattle, exemplifying the spirit of true heroes. Despite the relentless rain, the team persevered.

The meteorological department has issued a "red" alert for seven districts in Himachal Pradesh, warning of the likelihood of extremely heavy rainfall. In the Kasauli area of Solan district, six under-construction houses were damaged in a landslide caused by the rains, but fortunately, no casualties were reported. The district administration has relocated the affected laborers to safe places. Landslides and flash floods have also led to road blockages in Shimla, Sirmaur, Lahaul and Spiti, Chamba, and Solan districts.
