Devastating flood washes away house in South Korea
Footage shows how an entire house was washed away by disastrous floods as torrential rain hammered South Korea over the weekend.
Worried locals watched from the river bank as the deluge swept away the structure in North Jeolla Province on Saturday July 15.
The water had uprooted the home and pushed it against a bridge as brown flood continued to gush underneath.
Authorities said at least 26 people have died, dozens missing and thousands evacuated from their homes as torrential rains triggered landslides and flash floods across South Korea.
Scientists have linked the extreme weather to climate change.
