The Jimunai Port on the border of China and Kazakhstan in Altay of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region resumed passenger customs clearance on Monday.
The port suspended passenger customs clearance in April 2020 due to the pandemic.
Jimunai is an important land port connecting China's Xinjiang and Kazakhstan.
Official figures show that import and export trade value via Jimunai Port hit 4.04 billion yuan (about 0.57 billion U.S. dollars) this year as of May 15.
The exported goods mainly include commercial vehicles, construction materials, daily necessities, and electronic products.
