Clever Australian bird (crow) softens chip in puddle of water to make it easier to eat
Australian Mad Scientist , Jacob Strickling , observed some fascinating animal behaviour.
Two Australian birds (black crows) had found some discarded chips on the ground.
As the chips were too hard or stale to eat, the birds were picking them up with their beaks and carrying them over to a puddle of water on the road.
The birds were then dipping the chips into the water in order to soften them making them far easier to eat!
