Woman accused of faking being run over
A bizarre dashcam video has emerged from Wuhan, China which appears to show a woman attempting to fake being run over.
In the video, which was captured on Wednesday, the driver is moving slowly down a road in Wuhan when the woman walks out into the road and lies down several metres in front of the car. The driver stops immediately and after a moment the woman gets up, approaches the vehicle and appears to gesture to the driver that she intends to lie beneath the car and then proceeds to do exactly that.
According to reports, the woman lay there for several minutes until passers-by, some of whom had witnessed the attempted scam, dragged her to the side of the road and the driver continued on her way.
