Southwest Airlines flight attendant mum works with her two daughters on their first and second flights
This is the heartwarming moment a pilot introduced his flight attendant team which included a mum and her two daughters, one of whom was even on her first flight.
Passenger Nate, 42, was on a Southwest Airlines flight from Sacramento to Las Vegas on August 29 when the captain made an announcement to everyone on board.
After introducing one of the attendants as 27-year veteran Angel, the pilot then announced her daughter Jessica, who was on her first flight with the airline.
Following the introduction of her other daughter – who was only on her second flight – their dad and Angel’s husband Greg, a retired Southwest pilot, was also announced on the same plane and he came up to the front for a family hug.
Nate said: “Everyone onboard cheered and was visibly happy to be a part of a special day for this aviation family.
“I am also a pilot and a father which is why I was especially interested in the Captain's announcement.
"I thought it was inspirational. Having your family all on board the same flight as a veteran pilot like the Captain’s mentor is very special.
"As a pilot myself, I thought it was also special to see first-hand what can be accomplished by having a mentor in both aviation and in life."
A spokesperson from Southwest Airlines said: "Our people are the heart of Southwest and we're passionate about treating everyone like they're part of the Southwest family.
"We love seeing this family together onboard celebrating such a special moment, and applaud our former Southwest pilot and his wife, a current flight attendant, for inspiring their daughters to join the Southwest family."
