Adorable capybaras create ASMR nibbling on different fruit and vegetables
A pair of adorable capybaras created accidental ASMR by nibbling on different fruit and vegetables.
Marina Somma’s two rescues Cheesecake and Pumpkin have wowed their social media followers chowing down on raspberries, chard and strawberries.
Cute footage shows the capybaras using their big teeth to carefully nibble on most of the foods apart from corns on the cub which they devour.
Marina said: “Corn on the cob is their favourite food hands down. Husk on, they can annihilate an entire cob easily.
“The funniest reactions from followers are the ones along the lines of ‘I hate hearing people chewing, but this is so soothing’.
“People also tend to enjoy the really crunchy sounding foods as well.
“Capybaras are really similar to guinea pigs physiologically, so anything safe for guinea pigs is safe for them.
“With that said, even things that aren’t toxic can be bad for them in higher quantities, like fruit with lots of sugar in it. Anything new they get in small amounts either way.”
