Man leaves TikTokers cracking up over 'world's thinnest pillow' barely thicker than a napkin Part 1/2
A man has gone viral after sharing a video of a pillow for sale that is no thicker than “a napkin”.
David Bernstein, from California, was shopping in the 99-cent store in Los Angeles when he came across a bin of pillows.
Priced at £2.46 ($2.99) for one, the stack of bedding was labelled “Sleep Well at Night”.
With a “soft cotton cover” the pillow measures 20 inches by 26 inches.
Sharing the clip on TikTok (@realtor.bernstein), he quickly gained over 1.3m views.
“I happened to notice they had a big thing of pillows,” the 39-year-old said.
“It is the flattest pillow ever!
“It’s like a napkin.”
Posting the video on TikTok he gathered over 62,000 likes and hundreds of comments.
Krystal said: “Wrapping is wrong. It's actually a Maxi pad.”
Araceli commented: “flatter than my ass.”
“The audacity to say sleep well at night,” commented someone else.
“that's a jail pillow,” wrote Lucero. [sic]
Another person added: “Air pump sold separately.”
Posting a follow-up video, which gained 17,700 views, David shows an open pillow package.
The pillow has grown slightly, with David saying “It’s still skinny, it’s still a napkin, it’s still a maxi pad.
“Maybe it puffed up by two inches.”
