The winner of the internal opposition election in Venezuela, Corina Machado, called for "national unity to defeat tyranny" in Caracas

The liberal Maria Corina Machado, the presidential candidate who swept the opposition primaries this Sunday with 93% of the votes, promises to "win and collect" next year to evict Nicolas Maduro and Chavismo from the Presidency of Venezuela since 24 years ago.
After midnight and after a blockage on its server that delayed the results for more than 3 hours, the National Primary Commission (CNP) announced with 26% of the total that Maria Corina Machado of the Vente Venezuela party had triumphed with 552,430 votes (93%), Carlos Prosperi of AD came in second place with 28,153 votes (4.75%) and in third place Delsa Solorzano got 4,565 votes (0.77%). The rest of the 7 candidates obtained insignificant numbers.
The projection made by experts is that participation increased to 2.3 million voters, which represents more than 10% of the electoral registry with a vote of 140,000 abroad, which more than validates and legitimizes the candidate's victory. liberal, who managed to break a historical record since no Venezuelan politician has been able to prevail with figures classified as beating and avalanche.
