Dad cools his kids down during heatwave using clever invention
Amusing footage has emerged of a science teacher dad inventing a clever basketball net toy to cool his kids down during a heatwave in Sydney.
In the video, filmed today in New South Wales, Australia, Jacob from the YouTube channel Make Science Fun can be seen constructing the machine before we see it in action.
The children throw a ball at a tennis racket attached to an arm, and if they hit the tennis racket it activates a falling spike attached to the basketball net, which then explodes a water balloon, pouring water over whoever is sitting below it.
Jacob is a Science Teacher and well known YouTuber, with a popular channel called Make Science Fun.
